A silly blog...
What are you willing to risk to get all that you ever dreamed of?
Life is like a box of chocolates... Errr... Life is like the game of Risk. You versus the Enemy. Everything's already been set up.... Your pieces have been put into position, so have his. The game has already begun. But do you realize it?
The enemy's strategy is ruthless, trying to take advantage of the weak points in your defense. He advances; you draw back. Far too often when the Enemy attacks, we become fixated on the point of attack rather than realize that he has left himself open to a counterattack in another location. The Enemy often desires to drive a dagger deep into your territory, which he does for a time, only on the next turn to have you regain your position with little difficulty. But is the wound still there?
Sometimes we may think we are "all that." We ourselves may try to advance deep into enemy territory to make a great impact for the Kingdom, but if we do so without patience, perseverance, and power, it will all be for nought. The Enemy. on his turn, could send us reeling. We must wait... We must build up our defenses and manpower. We must look past the small encounters, the battles in life, to see a grander picture of the war we are in and set a larger goal for ourselves. Only then can we move forward, with God's empowering, to make a steady advance against the Enemy and drive him to defeat. But this one issue remains... Can we conquer our own mindsets first?
We need to wait patiently, building up our strength, building up knowledge, learning wisdom. Then we will be able to step out in authority to make firm advances against the Enemy on multiple fronts until the final day comes when the Enemy is defeated once and for all.
